the nightmare before graduation.

 //goth grad portraits at OCAD.
Yesterday I set up a 'grad photos' booth at OCAD for their SU's frosh activities. The talented girls from "The Cry School" did gothic makeovers (both costume & make-up) for students and then I took their nightmarish grad photo and gave them prints to take home. These are a couple of my favourite shots - which ironically don't even include the grad gown & flowers we were using, but are fun none-the-less.
August has been a real 'colour' month on the blog and I'll probably continue to dabble in it for a while as I mostly have digital along with me during this busy working summer. I've also been shooting my final batches of wonderful Kodachrome film as this is the very last year it will ever be possible to do so. Once I send those in for developing this fall, we'll get to relive summer all over again. Then, perhaps, I'll get back to the business of (my true love) black & white.
There were probably some 50+ bicycles. Would have been a good day to have a panoramic camera along, I'll tell ya.If you'd like a desktop version of this image, just e-mail me. It works far better in large sizes.
