Did an interview with a reporter from R.U.'s Ryersonian student paper this week and had to think back to some of my earliest images. This is one of those, shot at the pride parade in NYC. This little guy stood sweating on the sidelines in his 3-piece suit, with a hateful (and non-sensical) poster. He was trying to upset those in the parade, but instead got an appropriate dose of heckling, himself. I remember praying for him that night... but only briefly.
