//my father in Kensington Market. (Canon 30d)
Rented a 35mm prime lens this weekend to do some market shots here in the city. This was a planned shoot for the Italian cuisine series I'm working on, but didn't quite pan out as I couldnt get a 'nonna' on board as a subject for the afternoon. Instead I took my parents (who despite their age, look a little too young for the part) and did some close-ups of their hands on veggies as we shopped for essential ingredients for a home-cooked meal.
At this moment, I'd stopped to get some tea and returned to find my father waiting patiently outside a cheese shop for my mother. He looked so funny standing in this area that was littered with hay/rice/sawd type stuff. "You pee your pants that they had to throw this stuff on the ground, Ba?" "No, your madre when she saw all the cheese inside."
