//Kurt Browning skating in the TD Centre courtyard. Nikon 8800.
Last night I attended the inauration of a temp skating rink within the TD Centre courtyard -- yes, right in the middle of the financial district. Former Maple Leafs were in attendance (ones who actually one won Stanley Cups) and World Champion skaters Kurt Browning and Donald Jackson also performed with a number of upcoming figure skaters. Jackson was incredible with his effortless skate after some 40 years since his podium moment. Wow. Kurt, well, is always the showstopper. I stopped following figure skating altogether when he retired in '94.
Other shots up on blogTO and flickr (by the afternoon).
