//Single Malt Sunrise performing at Reilly's on Yonge St. Nikon 8800.

This show was one of the highlights of my weekend, though I unfortunately forgot my sync flash at home. As such, I had to boost the ISO on the camera and try to manage without a flash in the dim lighting. [ blogTO review ]

• Great shot! You captured the emotion of all of the band members at a great time. If this is another one of your handhelds, I hereby crown you the Queen of Handheld Shots. Concerts are very difficult to do.. I crank the ISO up to 1600, sometimes 3200. Then I pray!

• Haha.. thanks Ron. Yeah, it was VERY handheld. The camera I had along on Saturday only goes up to a grainy 400 ISO, so i was shifting back and forth between 200 and 400. This was taken at 200 ISO with a 1/8s shutter... I do a lot of praying.

• luckily enough he came across really clear. snapped between beats i suppose. i suppose the supposed image-stabilizing lens must not be as useless as I usually think it. sharpening mask was applied over all to help define once i'd sized down.
