I've been shooting with a ridiculous amount of expired film this fall - 120 slide, Polaroid pack film, straight up 35mm and even Kodachrome. Most of it hasn't been developed yet or turned out so badly it didn't make it to the blog. Last night, I set out to shoot some of the Polaroid with the help of a few flashcubes. Unfortunately, the cubes refused to spark, so I decided to get back to basics and simply shoot digital. To my surprise, the 5D started shooting in unbalanced colours like those of expired film (pictured here). In reality it would appear some colour settings were thrown off earlier on when I was trying a few things out, but I'd like to believe it just willed itself to break the rules for a night.
